Damian Lillard is one of the most resilient basketball players in the league. He’s an all-star shooter, an olympian and an unstoppable force. Biofreeze is the ultimate sports recovery product, one specifically used by the Portland Trailblazers– Damian’s team.
We had the idea for Damian Lillard to prove truly how resilient he is, by taking on a basketball robot engineered to score. And what a perfect place for this showdown: the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Biofreeze was going to sponsor the event in Tokyo during the Olympic games and livestream in partnership with the Bleacher Report. Unfortunately this project was paused due to Covid 19 but was incredibly fun to take a more clinical sports brand out of its element and really dive head first into the modern basketball aesthetic.
